Roulette is played on a wheel of 36 numbers plus either one zero or a zero and a double-zero. The 36 numbers are evenly split 18 red and 18 black. The zeros are colored green.
There are numerous ways to place bets in Roulette. On the outer part of the board you can place chips on even-money bets or 2:1 bets. Even money bets are like Red-Black, Odds-Evens, High Numbers-Low Numbers. 2:1 bets are betting on groups of numbers like 1-12, 13-24 or 25-36.
On the inner part of the board you can bet on Corners, Splits and Straight-ups. Corners bets are placed on the intersection of 4 numbers, and are paid at 8-1. Splits are places on the line between 2 numbers are are paid at 17-1. Straight-ups are places in the middle of the number's box, and are paid at 35-1. You can place bets on a variety of these options, you dont have to stick to just one per spin.
